Next month (November) I shall be up in the eastern Alpujarra with the redoubtable Michael Jacobs qv. We shall be spilling the beans on the subject of travel writing. The course will take place at the fabulous ‘Las Chimeneas’ in beautiful Mairena. The tucker and the booze will be of the very best; there will be uplifting walks in the local countryside to dispel that writer’s block, and a wonderful time will be had by all… and who knows? By the end of the week you ought to be able to write like Michael and me; it’s like falling off a log when you know how. Hurry, hurry, while there are still places.
